A full time freelancer writer, Tina Samuels specializes in health and gardening. She's written the 2005 book A Georgia Native Plant Guide and has written over 11,000 articles for web and print. Gardening topics in her portfolio include plant profiles, garden collections, and "meaning of" articles.She has been writing health articles since 1993 and gardening articles since 1995. She is the Featured Writer at Suite 101's Desert and Water-wise Gardening, advice columnist at Advice and Info for Diabetes and for Native Gardening.

Currently she is at work on two new native gardening books for future release.

Her article "How to Make Potting Soil" was distributed in Cedar City, Utah in a Master Gardening class and others have enjoyed "How to Test Soil". Her gardening articles have appeared in GardenGuides.com as well as "Mature Years", "Arthritis Today", and "Alabama Living".
